🐫☀️Happy Wednesday friends!☀️🐫
As most of our schools know, our new therapy day is now Wednesdays, which is a nice break in the middle of the week. 😀
Today we visited a special friend of ours at Kathleen E. Goodwin School in Old Saybrook 🏫, thanks to her she is the whole reason we get to visit that school district because she made the motions of getting approval for a therapy dog! How awesome is that?!
We truly love visiting this school because the faculty & students are so respectful and appreciative of our visits. I know most people recognize that we do this as community service, but it really makes my heart feel good when the teachers explain to their students that this actually isn’t my full time job, and that I use my day off from work to schedule these visits. We are happy to serve the community when we can, & thank you all for being so supportive of our therapy journey together! 💕
Dune was dressed in pumpkins 🎃 today, although it was entirely too hot to be feeling like October….so after her therapy visit she got to cool down poolside 🧜🏼♀️, and finish the night off with a relaxing sniff walk in downtown Mystic 😌.
