This is something that we take a lot of pride in and look forward to continue in the future. These clinics have been very successful in helping people of all ages acquire the skills needed to put the "competitive edge" on their side. Along wi

th these needed skills, our clinics provide a wealth of knowledge including many things that have taken years of "being in the business" to learn. Participants have gone on from these sessions and received immediate and rewarding results on local and national levels. You will learn proven techniques and tips on clipping, hoof trimming, show day dressing, showmanship, feeding and general care. I will also share many of the solutions to problems I've encountered over the years. In addition to the hands-on experience, we like to get together each day for group discussions covering a variety of topics. In the 23 years running, we have continually updated and improved these clinics in order to bring you the best and most sought after clinic you can attend. These clinics are an excellent crash course on everything in the show cattle industry.

Had a great trip to Farmington , New Mexico!! Judged the San Juan Fair cattle show. Thank you to Bob Echols and committee for the invite . Really good show, nice set of cattle, incredible exhibitors. Thanks to friends Craig and Bambi Pilley for all the hospitality.Thanks to Craig for taking me on the world class waters of the San Juan river fly fishing for a day!! It was my first time to ever do that!! Craig’s a great teacher !! I had a blast!! Blessed on the places I go , people I meet and the people I know!

This was a incredible honor and day for me at the Iowa State Fair!! Awesome steer!! Awesome cause!! Incredible people involved !! PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE!! It’s what we do!! Iowa does it right!!!

Drumroll, please....More than $569,000 was raised through this year's Iowa Governor's Charity Steer Show for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Iowa. Congratulations and thank you to all the sponsors, youth exhibitors, celebrities, and those who donated or bought a steer for helping make this possible.

We also extend a sincere thank you to Governor Kim Reynolds for her dedicated support and continuation of this great event.

What a great day at the Iowa State Fair!! Judging the Iowa Governor’s Charity Steer Show was an incredible honor and definitely bucket list check off experience! The cattle were very impressive, exhibited by some very distinguished people such as Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and US Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins. Got to see a lot of Iowa friends I hadn’t seen in a while. My Mom and some family attended as well !!! Congratulations to all involved, Iowa Cattlemans Association, Iowa State Fair, Iowa Governors Charity Steer Show and the exhibitors! This event has raised over 6.5 million for the Ronald McDonald House Fundraising . People helping people always wins!!!
