As the season of giving begins, Marshall+Sterling is proud to announce our support for two local organizations that enrich our neighborhoods and assist those in need.

TOP: Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum (MHDM) welcomes more than 80,000 visitors a year with child-friendly exhibits that focus on early literacy, art, early STEM, health and the local community. So far in 2024, Marshall+Sterling has donated over a half million dollars to more than 140 worthy non-profits across the U.S. and the U.S. Virgin Islands, helping strengthen our communities and making them safer and more secure.

Marshall+Sterling continues to grow its presence in Upstate New York with the acquisition of the assets of FitzGibbons Agency LLC, a third-generation independent insurance agency serving the Oswego and Onondaga communities.

Marshall+Sterling President & CEO Eric Diamond commented on the acquisition:
“We are further solidifying our strong presence in Upstate New York, building on the integration of the Hearn Agency, Jacksland Associates, and Mancino Insurance in 2023, positioning us as a key player in the region. This expansion not only enhances our service offerings and client reach but also accelerates our momentum toward achieving our ambitious growth and profitability objectives. We remain committed to investing in opportunities that strengthen our competitive advantage and deliver long-term value to our clients and partners.”

The agency was previously owned by Pathfinder Bank and John FitzGibbons. Marshall+Sterling also announced it is entering into an Enterprise Referral Agreement with Pathfinder Bank.

For more than 10 years, Hudson River Housing has been providing permanent supportive housing and on-site specialized care to veterans at its 26-unit Liberty Station project here in Poughkeepsie.

Marshall+Sterling is extremely proud to assist Hudson River Housing with financial support for the construction of a new accessibility ramp at Liberty Station, and renovation of the front entrance.
