Happy Summer Solstice everybody! This morning, Jennifer and I got up early and went down to watch the sunrise at McKeighan Park here in Lee's Summit.
Today, the Sun rose at 6am, and it will set at 8:37pm. That's almost 15 hours of daylight! This Solstice is the culmination if the Sun's power in the Northern Hemisphere.
Without the Sun's light, there would be no life on Earth as we know it. And, though life gives us many trials, there is much beauty to take in.
Shine the light of your own consciousness today on the things that give you life, and which add light to your world. These are your blessings to count.
