✨ YEAR 5 ✨

🌻 5 years full of everything I ever dreamed for this practice. Today’s milestone made me stop in my tracks to reflect & praise God.

🪴 This vision started during chiro school - before opening, I was so anxious & so scared. All the what ifs almost took over until I asked God to show me if this was the right step. One thing led to another and Flourish was born.

🪴 5 years with 2 build-outs, 1 expansion, 2 pregnancies + maternity leaves, lots of hard work/grit, lessoned learned, more certifications earned, best Chiro in LS awarded, and a place where my family is loved as much as I love all of yours.

🪴 5 years full of experiencing life with every single one of you who have walked through these doors. We have laughed, cried, prayed, danced, watched our babies grow, and ultimately, healed together. We’ve celebrated all the wins and mourned the losses.

🌻 A patient told me today that this feels like an extension of home. I felt an immediate shift of overwhelm - in an incredible way. That was the dream and it’s being lived out. A place where you come as you are, a place of safety, a place where God helps my heart connect to yours.

✨ 5 life-changing years. I don’t have all the words to truly express my gratitude in what this milestone means, but thank you for giving me the honor to be your chiropractor, friend, and biggest cheerleader.

I am thrilled to see what’s to come with it being this amazing so far.

Hi everyone! Dane and I popping on here to share that tomorrow is my first day back in office from maternity leave. What a blessing it has been welcoming this little guy into our family 🤎

I’m excited to see all of you & your sweet babies. Thank you for your grace as I transition back in. If you have contacted the office, I will be working through the new patient waitlist this week to get everyone scheduled 🙌🏼

Also, fun news. While out on leave, I learned Flourish was in nomination categories for best chiropractor in Best of KC, The Pitch Best of KC, AND Lees Summit Community votes. 🤩 It’s always an honor to be mentioned amongst the other amazing chiros in the area. Truly blessed, so thank you all 🫶🏼

Meet the newest Flourish member!
✨ Dane Alexander Helsper ✨ Born at home (Frank Breech) 8/4/24 at 38+4 weeks weighing 7 lbs 10oz, 20 in. long!

Our birth team was the dream team. An at home breech birth was something we researched, prepped for, & prayed about. We are both healthy & navigating our breastfeeding journey. We are eternally grateful for the love outpoured to us already between meals, coffees, time with Crue, and sweet messages sent our way - thank you so much. 🤎

Thank you to my Flourish family for the support and love. I’ll be back before you know it!!

MATERNITY LEAVE UPDATE:
I am excited to announce that things have started progressing with bringing my little man earth side (yes, much earlier than anticipated)! I am no longer able to adjust as we wait on his timing so we have some last minute changes:

Dr. Stephanie has graciously agreed to provide coverage 2 weeks earlier than expected as well as Monday and Tuesday of next week! (A HUGE thank you to her)

Adjusting Hours:

This week: Tuesday, July 16th - Thursday, 18th: CLOSED

Monday, July 22nd: 9:00AM - 12:30PM and 3:00PM - 5:30PM
Tuesday, July 23rd: 9:00AM - 12:00PM and 2:00PM - 6:00PM
Wednesday, July 24th: Closed
Thursday, July 25th: Closed



Adjusting Maternity Leave Hours July 29th - October 29th
Mondays: 9:00AM - 12:30PM and 3:00 - 5:30PM
Tuesdays: 2:00PM - 6:00PM
Wednesdays: Closed
Thursdays: 9:00AM - 1:00PM

WELLNESS CARE:
Those of you who were scheduled to add your little ones to wellness with you or on restorative plans with scans coming up, I will be sending out the details about care to get it setup. Look for an individual message. I encourage you all to look back at the email previously sent (check spam) regarding full details on maternity leave and wellness membership as nothing changes there, just Dr. Stephanie is stepping in.

Hi! A little update: As of August 1st, I will be out on maternity leave as we wait for little man to make his arrival. I’m excited to introduce Dr. Stephanie! 😍

She will be the cover doc taking excellent care of you & your littles while I take approximately 12 weeks to recover. Dr. Stephanie will be seeing current practice members only during this time.

A note from Dr. Stephanie:

“I grew up in a small Western Kansas town but now live in Shawnee with my husband, Ian, and our corgi, Frankie!

I come from a BIG family, which means I’m totally comfortable in chaos 😅 I have 9 siblings and one of them is my twin sister.

I enjoy traveling with my family 🏝️ All I usually ask for is sunshine, a beach, and a good book!

I’ve been a chiropractor since 2018, I spent most of my time working for a busy family practice in Omaha before moving back KC 👐🏼 My favorite part is treating Mommas + their babes and seeing the cool changes (outside of pain relief) that occur when we’re well adjusted! One of my favorite chiropractic memories is taking a mission trip to El Salvador, where we were able to provide chiropractic care to hundreds.” 💕

A common joke with patients is that I have the coolest job in the world but who wouldn’t think so when we hear things like these from patients:

🍀 “he finally pooped! Thank you!”
🍀 “no more rage outbursts at daycare - more calm”
🍀 “she’s no longer a picky eater”
🍀 “no allergies & usually they are killing me by now”
🍀 “she’s no longer using the ni**le shield to nurse”
🍀 “my baby is sleeping deeper with no gas”
🍀 “this is a different baby. No more colic”
🍀 “I actually feel great this pregnancy”
🍀 “she’s hardly toe walking anymore”
🍀 “after 3 years of speech therapy, 5 adjustments later he’s speaking more than he ever has”
🍀 “I did it! Successful VBAC with 10 min of pushing”

And that’s only this week alone! 🤩 You might be wondering how any of this has to do with chiropractic?
The original design of chiropractic was to focus solely on the central nervous system meaning once you free the body from road blocks, the brain has a direct communication pattern to the rest of the body (every tissue, cell, and organ via spinal nerves) with no interference. Hello, efficiency 👏🏼 makes for some cool healing journeys.

Of course we work through pain symptoms too, but we do so going after the root cause versus the quick fix. That’s what makes the difference 🔥

Best. Job. Ever. + seeing an office full of families, barefoot toddlers, mamas to be, etc. makes for a beautiful atmosphere 💕 join us!
