Kara Drake! Kara is always showing her why and shows up for not only our amazing residents but her team and even families. We appreciate all you do and the joy you bring to the community.
Kara has worked here since July 2025. She loves working at Silverado because she believes in our philosophy and our standards of care. Outside of work, Kara takes care of her mom and loves hanging out with her boyfriend and family. She also loves going on road trips!

Join us in celebrating our Employee of the Month, Kiki! 🎉
Kiki has been a valued part of our team as a culinary aide since August 2025. She was nominated by her fellow team members for the exceptional care and service she provides each day. From delivering outstanding dining experiences for our residents, to keeping the kitchen running smoothly, Kiki truly goes above and beyond.
Outside of work, Kiki enjoys cooking and painting. She says she loves working here because she enjoys meeting new people and caring for others. Thank you, Kiki, for your dedication, heart, and the joy you bring to our community each day. We are so lucky to have you! 💛

SO much fun was had in “Top Trends 101” as we dove into one of today’s most popular crazes- squishies! Our residents enjoyed a hands on experience feeling the different textures and styles, sparking lots of conversation and laughter along the way.
We also talked about why squishies are so popular and how they can be a satisfying stress reliever. It was exciting to connect generations through current trends while having many laughs together 🫶🏼🤣💙

During Art Expressions Club, our residents got creative with a Royals themed project, bringing out the spirit, and plenty of hometown pride. It was a small way to celebrate the season and cheer on our team together!
