We had a special visitor crash our Christmas party this afternoon! He brought us gifts and even posed for photos with us! We heard the weather was so nice today, he rode in on his bike, instead of his sleigh! Merry Christmas to all!

Today we celebrated our receptionist Roxann’s last day! After almost 7 years, she has decided to retire. If you know Roxann, this does not mean she will slow down. She will spend some of her free time making wine in her basement. We hope to get some free tastings! Happy Retirement, Roxann!

The third annual Cross Creek holiday cookie contest did not disappoint. We had a first time competitor, added a new category and some new judges on the panel. All the entries were delicious, but in the end, the winners are listed below. Thank you to all who came to enjoy the contest, who helped judge and our always entertaining emcee, Janell!

Last week was packed with fun activities to help us celebrate Assisted Living week! We had a sock hop, with a bubble gum blowing contest, homemade malts and hula hoop contest. Jillian was our winner second year in a row! We sang karaoke, enjoyed snow cones and ended the week with a visit from the ice cream woman! 🙂

We had some friendly competition today playing bean bag toss and bowling! In the end, we were all winners with snacks handed out by our awesome, young helpers! Thank you to Legacy Healthcare for running the festivities!
