Robert Frank once said, "When people look at my pictures I want them to feel the way they do when they want to read a line of a poem twice." I want people to look at my pictures and their breath be taken away. I studied photography at The University of Central Missouri and obtained my Bachelor of Science in Photography in 2010. My love of photography goes back to when I was a little girl always wa
nting to play with my parents' film camera. I always had a camera with me to capture all of the special moments growing up. I decided to pursue photography to be able to capture those same special moments but for others. A photograph is a way to capture a moment in time that would otherwise be missed or forgotten. As Aaron Siskind said, "Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever...it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything." There are a lot of photographers out there taking pictures but I don't take pictures, I design them.
