This is true for tablets and most capsules but it’s good to have the data for such lifesaving aerosols like Albuterol!

I've personally used expired albuterol when that's all I can find. I tend to use extra puffs just in case, but it seems I don't really need to do that.

This study shows that out-of-date albuterol products retain over 90% of their listed strength for over 15 years post-expiration. Now you can feel comfortable using an inhaler that's a bit out of date.
