A.E. “Boots” Mallicoat, Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away September 11, 2025.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 16th, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., at Langsford Funeral Home in Lee’s Summit, MO. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be at the Lone Jack Cemetery in Lone Jack, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to the Missouri Hospice and Palliative Care Association.

Douglas E. Fisher, age 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning September 7, 2025, at the Veterans Home in Warrensburg, MO.

Visitation will be Saturday October 4, 2025, at 9:30am, with funeral services to follow at 10:30am at Langsford Funeral Home in Lee’s Summit, MO.

Linda Joyce Jarrett, age 81 of Lee’s Summit, Missouri died on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at her home.

Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 2025 at the Langsford Funeral Home in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Visitation will be 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Graveside service and interment will be 12:00 Noon Friday, September 4, 2025 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri.

Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Mercy Hospital – Oncology Department.

Donna Maxine Sampson, 84, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri went home to be with her Heavenly Father on August 26, 2025.

The visitation will be Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 10-11:30am at Blue Springs Assembly with the funeral service following at 11:30am. Burial will be at the VA cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3 in Higginsville, Missouri.
