Excuses we can leave in 2025, and some ugly truths…

These are things I hear all the time in the office or in passing. Maybe some of these resonate with you.

I named this company “Able” because I want people to realize they are ABLE to live a better life. Life is a flame, can be gone in an instant, incredibly resilient and yet fragile.

If your labwork is “normal” and you feel like crap
- you have the wrong labs

Running a CBC, CMP, and lipid panel from your “functional doctor” is not functional medicine, and it likely isn’t going to give you the answers you want.

Just in the world of bloodwork, there’s so much more we can look into and bloodwork is just a sliver of what we can test.

So don’t settle for less.

Low testosterone and TRT… gonna make some boys sad today and step on toes. I think it’s a great tool, has helped a lot of men. But it’s also been a band-aid for deeper underlying problems. How much water for optimal hydration?

Here’s a good guideline to set your goal:
1/2 your body weight (lbs), in ounces each day

Equally important is your electrolyte intake which helps you absorb that water - more water without electrolytes can actually lead to a reduced blood volume and impaired performance!

Toxic burden is built by two things: level of exposure and ability to eliminate toxins

Small exposure over long periods of time accumulate, especially in a system that is struggling to keep up!
