Small movement. Big progress.
One of the most important early goals after an elbow injury or surgery is regaining the ability to bring your hand toward your body — especially hand-to-mouth movement for everyday tasks like eating, drinking, or brushing your teeth.
This activity combines elbow flexion with hand coordination using clothespins to add a grip challenge. It helps retrain the arm while building strength, control, and endurance in a safe, functional way.
Rehab is all about purposeful movement that translates to real life — and sometimes simple tools like clothespins can make a big difference.
At Prestige Hand & Physical Therapy, we focus on restoring the movements that matter most so our patients can get back to living fully.
