In observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday, Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services announces changes in operating hours for November 26, November 27, and November 28.
The PRCS administrative office will close at noon on Wednesday, November 26, and return to regular business hours on Monday, December 1.
All recreation centers will maintain normal operating hours on Wednesday, November 26, and Friday, November 28. Recreation centers will be open from 5:00am to noon on Thanksgiving Day, and there will be no Kid Kare offered.
Child care at all recreation centers and community centers will close at noon on Wednesday, November 26, and stay closed through Friday, November 28.
All community centers will close at noon on Wednesday, November 26, remain closed on Thanksgiving Day, and will return to normal operating hours on Friday, November 28.
The Round Hill Indoor Aquatic Center (RHAC) will maintain normal operating hours on Wednesday, November 26, and Friday, November 28. RHAC is closed on Thanksgiving Day.
All senior centers will close at noon on Wednesday, November 26, and will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. The senior centers will return to regular operating hours on Friday, November 28. For adult 55+ services, there will be no bus transportation, lunch programs, or home-delivered meals Wednesday, November 26 through Friday, November 28.
The Loudoun County Adult Day Centers will be closed starting Wednesday November 26 and return to normal business hours starting Monday, December 1.
The Franklin Park Arts Center will close at noon on Wednesday, November 26 (excluding evening rehearsal). The arts center is closed on Thanksgiving Day and for visiting hours on Friday, November 28 (the performance of It's a Wonderful Life will be held at the Franklin Park Arts Center on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights).
Park offices and visitor/nature centers will close at noon on Wednesday, November 26, and will reopen on Friday, November 28. Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. Park grounds, including trails, gardens, playgrounds, off-leash areas, skate parks, courts, and fields, are open to the public from dawn to dusk and provide a wonderful opportunity for families and friends to spend time together.
