He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cornell University and obtained his medical degrees from the Medical College of Virginia. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics and board certified in Internal Medicine (adult medicine). Dr Abedin provides care to a diverse range of infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. He enjoys Pediatrics, Preventative Family Medicine/Internal Medicine, Cosmetic Dermatology, Alternative health and Teaching. Dr Abedin has also helped pioneer the first hospital interface in the INOVA Healthcare system to Loudoun Hospital, and serves on the Advisory Boards for A4 Healthsystems electronic medical records, and INOVA hospital system's IT committee. Assistant Clinical Professor, Virginia Commonwealth University - Medical College of Virginia. He recieved his acupuncture certification from Kiiko Matsumoto at the Harvard Medical School.
