Canyon Lakes Counseling Hi, I am Sam Griggs. I am an Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.

I have been a social worker for the past 9 years, however I have work with disadvantaged youth since 2008. My experience includes working with both adolescents and adults that struggle with substance misuse, child protection, adult and children suffering from mental health and behavioral issues, and group home settings. If you or someone you know struggles with addiction or emotional issues of any type, please reach out me, I may be able to help you get back to where you want to be in life.

If you've noticed someone close to you seems off or overwhelmed, starting a conversation with care can make all the difference. Let them know you've noticed a change and that you're there to listen without judgment. Sharing that you understand or have gone through your own challenges can help them feel less alone. Just showing up for someone else can be the first step toward healing.
