Get ready for an unforgettable evening as The B***y Trap Foundation launches its very first Battle of The Worship Bands — a dynamic night where anointed voices come together to lift the roof and lift lives!

I’m thrilled to announce that tonight at the Shimmering Lanterns of Hope event, Deb Jayne, the founder of The B***y Trap Foundation, will be sharing her journey as a cancer survivor. It’s such an honor to be part of this special evening, where Deb will talk about the role of faith, family, and friends in her fight against cancer.

The B***y Trap Foundation will also have a booth at the event! If you’re in the area (or near Orlando), we’d love for you to come by and say hello. The event will be held at UF Health Leesburg Hospital from 4-8 pm. Deb will be speaking around 6 pm, and the lantern release will take place at 7 pm. The event is free, but if you'd like to release a lantern, it's $25. The address is 600 E. Dixie Avenue, Leesburg, FL 34748.

This is a night to celebrate hope and strength, and we are so grateful to share this journey with all of you. 💖 ***yTrapFoundation

Important Announcement

Due to the impact of Hurricane Milton and unforeseen challenges faced by some of our partners, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the soft launch tea event for the B***y Trap Foundation. We are currently securing a new date and venue, and we hope to have an update for you within the next few days.

Did you know that tomorrow is National Nonprofit Day, August 17th?

I want to take a moment to highlight a cause that’s close to my heart—the B***y Trap Foundation. I founded this organization with a mission to support women undergoing mastectomies during their breast cancer treatment. Through the foundation, we provide shower scarves (in a small but meaningful way) and financial support to help these brave women maintain their dignity and comfort during such a challenging time.

Breast cancer is a journey no one should have to face alone, and it's my hope that the B***y Trap Foundation can offer a little bit of comfort and care when it’s needed most.

We are delighted to disburse funds to a special lady in our community. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Hoopers Embroidery Club as well as Stokes & Hanawalt CPA for their generous donations, which made this possible.

A big thank you also goes to Dr. Glover for graciously welcoming us to his office to deliver the check and care package to one of his remarkable employees.

We are also excited to announce that we hope to have Zelle set up with our bank soon. This will allow donors to earmark their contributions specifically for individuals going through breast cancer. Stay tuned for updates on how you can directly support someone in need with just a few clicks!

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women worldwide, but the good news is that when detected early, it is highly treatable. One of the most accessible and effective ways to detect breast cancer early is by performing regular breast self-exams.

So, let's talk about checking your b***s for breast cancer and how you can make this a part of your regular routine.

Why Check Your B***s for Breast Cancer?
Breast cancer can develop at any age, and early detection is crucial for successful treatment. Regular breast self-exams can help you become familiar with your breast tissue, making it easier to notice any changes. These changes may include lumps, swelling, ni**le discharge, changes in breast shape or size, or skin dimpling. Keep in mind that not all breast changes indicate cancer, but it's essential to consult a healthcare professional if you notice anything unusual.

Over the course of several days, we will be diving in a little bit deeper to check for lumps and the early warning signs to watch for.
