Today was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and heartfelt gratitude as our residents enjoyed our Annual Turkey Race — complete with water-filled cups to guide their turkeys to victory! The excitement was real… and may the best turkey win! 🏁🥳

After the races, we gathered for our Gratitude & Thankfulness Circle, sharing the many blessings we hold dear — family, friends, loved ones, and the moments that bring us closer. And together, we all agreed on one universal truth…

Food has a magical way of bringing everyone together. 🧡🍽️

🎶 A Melodic Afternoon at Reflections Senior Living 🎶

Today, we had the absolute honor of welcoming Meg and Erica from Shenandoah University, who are studying Music Therapy and brought their incredible talent to our residents here in Leesburg, Virginia.

They filled our community with beautiful sounds—playing the flute, guitar, singing, and guiding our residents with shakers and maracas, engaging everyone in a joyful, sensory-stimulating musical experience. 💛🎵

Their kindness, patience, and passion for music truly touched our hearts. We are deeply grateful for the time they spent with us and the smiles they brought to our residents.

Weekend Joy at Reflections Senior Living! 🐾

This weekend, our residents were treated to an extra-special visit from our neighborhood therapy dog, Gria — and she did not disappoint! 💛

Gria’s loving energy, gentle spirit, and super-fluffy fur brought so many smiles, cuddles, and moments of pure joy. Our residents absolutely adored spending time with her, and the connection she brings is truly heartwarming.

A big thank you to Gria and her wonderful owner for sharing her with us. Moments like these remind us how powerful companionship and pet therapy can be. 🐶✨

We truly cherish our vendors and are so grateful for the fun and meaningful programs they bring. There’s something truly special about decorating our tables with arrangements made by our very own residents — it brings warmth, joy, and a little extra sparkle to every celebration.

Our residents came together for a fun discussion about the foods we love most during Thanksgiving — from treasured family recipes passed down through generations to traditions shaped by our unique backgrounds and lifestyles. 🥧✨

We also explored new recipes we’d love to try this year… because it’s never too late to add something fresh to the holiday table! 😄🍽️

To bring our ideas to life, everyone created their very own Thanksgiving meal collage — each one unique, creative, and filled with personality. The results were as wonderful and diverse as the stories behind them. 🎨🧡
