Real Mom Moment 🩷

This is what I mean when I say postpartum support goes beyond the basics.

From fitness to pelvic floor care to training on your schedule because life with a baby doesn’t fit into a perfect routine. Your recovery deserves a coordinated, judgment-free plan.

The right support doesn’t just get you moving again. It gives you confidence in your body and peace of mind through the whole process.

Full Review:

If you’re a mom in Leesburg trying to reclaim your health postpartum, Anna at A Path Forward is exactly who you need in your corner. I’ve been training with her for a while now and she meets you exactly where you are, no judgment, no pressure. Skipped your at-home workouts this week? She gets it. Feeling extra motivated and ready to push harder? She’s right there with you.

What sets Anna apart is how deeply she understands the reality of being a mom. She doesn’t just write a fitness plan and send you on your way. She connected me with a pelvic floor physical therapist, and together they built a coordinated plan to support my postpartum recovery. That level of collaboration and care is rare and made a huge difference in my confidence and healing.
The hybrid training model is also a game-changer for busy moms. I train with Anna in person once a week in Leesburg, and then I have access to her app to fit in workouts whenever I can, during nap time, after bedtime, whenever life allows. It takes the guilt out of an inconsistent schedule and keeps me moving consistently.

If you’re looking for a postpartum personal trainer, a fitness coach who genuinely supports women’s health, or just someone who actually gets what it means to balance motherhood and taking care of yourself, A Path Forward is it. I cannot recommend Anna enough.

The flowers are wilting, the brunch is a memory, and somehow the laundry multiplied overnight.

Yesterday felt special. Today feels like… Tuesday.

And yet here you are. Packing lunches, answering questions, showing up for tiny humans who don’t know what day it is.

And honestly that’s the whole point.

You don’t need a holiday to be remarkable. You just are.
To every pregnant mama growing a human while running on empty, every postpartum mom wondering when she’ll feel like herself again, every breastfeeding mom counting ounces at midnight, and every mom who’s just deep in the thick of it…

yesterday was for you. But so is today.

Happy day-after Mother’s Day. 🩷

✨ From mom uniform to a real person ✨

Family photos with is the best reason to remember how to do my hair and makeup.

Jokes aside… I remember the first time I had photos done with Hayley and, while I’ll cherish them forever, I couldn’t believe how much weight I had allowed myself to gain.

I talk a lot about lifestyle changes for health, and I still believe that should be the foundation. But I can’t pretend that wanting to feel confident in your skin again, or maybe even for the first time, is any less valid.

It’s okay to want to look in the mirror and like what you see. That matters too.

And if you’re in a season where you don’t quite feel like yourself yet… you’re not alone. And you’re not stuck there either. 🩷

When your daughter asks to match you in your business shirt, you don’t argue.

Seriously what and honor that my daughter considers shirt to be my business shirt.

We wear it proudly. 🩷

Support in motherhood is talked about a lot, but it’s rarely defined or executed.

For most moms, it ends up looking like:
advice, too much of it rather
information overload
quick fixes vs lasting solutions

But REAL support looks different.

It’s understanding what’s going on, not just being told what to try.

It’s having a plan that fits your life and adjusts as things change.

It’s supporting you as a whole person, not just focusing on one piece at a time.

Because motherhood doesn’t exist in compartments,
And neither should the support around them.

There’s a lot of advice out there for moms.

What to do, how to do it, what should be working by now…

But what matters more is how that advice is applied.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all plans
because no two moms are navigating the same situation.

I don’t expect you to overhaul your routine overnight
because that’s not realistic.

I don’t separate feeding, recovery, and strength
because they are all connected.

The goal isn’t to give you more to manage.

It’s to make what you’re already navigating
feel more clear and more supported.

Some of the strongest moms I work with
are also the ones quietly wondering if they’re doing it right

You’re not behind
You’re just in it

In the feeding
In the recovery
In rebuilding strength
In figuring out your energy
In trying to find balance again
In figuring out - ‘what the heck’

There’s so much pressure to “figure it out”
and not enough space to just be supported through it

What I’ve learned is that most moms don’t need more information: They need the right kind of support at the right time

And sometimes just someone to say
you’re actually doing better than you think.
