Loudoun Medical Group, one of Loudoun, VA's leading employers, is composed of 147 physician offices located throughout northern Virginia. With over 1200 employees, LMG supports over 300 medical providers, 190 board recognized physicians in 35 specialties, as well as numerous additional medical professionals and support staff. Through collaboration among these specialists, patients receive comprehensive medical treatment that is efficient and thorough. Systems and services are designed to assist physicians in the delivery of high-quality, coordinated, patient-centered care. Lapsley and Mary Beth Tamasy, along with a group of local doctors, sought to create an organization of premiere multi-specialty medical practices that were also physician owned. By collaborating several offices, they were able to work with managed care organizations, offer better benefits to their employees, as well as reduce overall administrative operating costs.
