In 1997, she graduated with Honors from Florida International University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then attended Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, earning her Doctorate in Optometry in 2003. She proudly served Albany, Lee County and all surrounding areas at Berg Eye Center between 2003 to 2005 and then at Lenscrafters from 2006 to 2010. She will continue providing quality, comprehensive eye care from the new practice at Lee County Optical. Her goal is to provide the growing area with the best full service family eye care and optical services possible. Dr. Renee Gordon is married to Dr. Eric Gordon, who is also an optometrist at Lee County Optical. They have three children, Bradley Gordon, Daniel Gordon, and a new baby girl Brooke Gordon. Renee is currently a Georgia Optometric Association and American Optometric Association member. Lee County Optical is proud to announce that Dr. Eric Gordon has officially joined our practice. Originally from Miami, Florida, Eric has been living in Albany,GA since 2003. He graduated from University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition in 1999 and then graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Doctorate in Optometry in 2003. Dr. Gordon has been working at the Walmart Vision Center in Albany since 2004 where he specializes in contact lens fittings. He is married to Dr. Renee Gordon, whom he met in Optometry school. They have been married for 10 years and they have three children, Bradley Gordon, Daniel Gordon, and a new baby girl Brooke Gordon. Dr. Eric Gordon is excited to be bringing his experience and charm to the Lee County Optical team.
