Last week we celebrated the amazing Dietary team at Lee County Health and Rehab. This is a team that goes above and beyond to provide support for our residents and our associates at the drop of a hat. Absolutely, everyone loves the food here at Lee County. We are grateful for the compassionate approach this team takes when ensuring that every resident's meals are the very best.

On Tuesday, September 30th, Lee County Health and Rehab welcomed the families of our residents for another Annual Family Dinner Night. This is always a special occasion for both residents and the staff. The opportunity to interact and serve our resident's families deepens relationships and reinforces trust in our mission to put our Patients First. A big thank you to everyone who participated and to the First Methodist Church of Americus for providing seating for the event.

On Tuesday, September 16th, the leadership team at LCHR had the privilege to participate in a training by CHSGa’s own, Jeannie Sullivan. Jeannie presented The 5 Chairs session focusing on how we interpret information from different viewpoints. This allows us to adjust our reactions by better understanding how we’re processing what we hear, see, or feel.

The Retention Committee BINGO Night Fundraiser was a hit! We welcomed the community, families and friends for a fun night of BINGO, a 50/50 raffle and Silent Auction.
We would like to thank our players for attending, volunteers for their time and effort, and all sponsors who provided gift baskets for this special event!
