Celebrate spring in the vistas of Loudoun County with The Song of the Earth, Mahler’s Das Lied von der Erde!

Join us May 2nd at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church for an intimate 60-minute journey through life’s landscapes. Hear it all—from the joy of drinking songs and splashing by the lake to the lonely ache of misty vistas and long goodbyes. Featuring tenor Ye Lynn Han, mezzo-soprano Amanda Zoe Vest, pianist Mark Irchai and a special art exhibition by Terri Parent.

A Recipe for Laughter, Music, and Mischief!

Get ready to preheat your funny bone! Loudoun Lyric Opera serves up Baking with Divas—two hilarious operas (sung in English).

Inspired by the joy (and chaos!) of the kitchen, Bon Appetit! is a lighthearted one-act opera based on Julia’s Child iconic TV show, The French Chef. It is jam-packed with big voices, bigger personalities, and plenty of laughs. The Italian Lesson offers a fast-paced portrait of a formidable Park Avenue matron as she attempts to translate Dante’s Inferno but is repeatedly derailed by her children, servants, gossiping acquaintances, and a mischievous new puppy.

Baking with Divas is perfect for a unique Valentine’s date night or a fun outing with friends.
