On display for all of March, discover the artistic works of local artistic Tiffany with our Collage of Whispers exhibit! Exploring animals, nature, and movement, Tiffany's work uses recycled paper, drawings, and paint . There will be an art show reception on March 21st, 4pm - following our 2pm showing of Velveteen Rabbit, and preceding our 7pm show.

July 2026 brings Theater Skills Camp to A Place To Be! This camp differs from our usual theater offerings, being an introduction to theater and performance for first time actors. Covering acting, voice, movement, and character development, campers will collaborate on an abridged version of the classic fairytale "The Ugly Duckling" in a supportive, accessible environment!

We're 2 weeks away from the opening of Give Choose early giving! Give Choose is an annual day of giving organized by the , with over 170 local nonprofits participating - including A Place To Be!

The 24-hour day of giving begins March 24th: You can give starting on March 10th, as part of early giving! This will help A Place To Be on the leaderboard, unlocking prizes, and help us towards our $30,000 fundraising goal!

Summer 2026 brings an ALL NEW camp to A Place To Be! Campers ages 11 and up are invited to join us for "Masterpiece Art Camp" from July 13th-17th.

This 2 hour offering will give campers the chance to explore fun painting techniques and fundamentals, and the opportunity to express themselves through their original art.

Did you know A Place To Be offers sensory-friendly show options? These special performances feature lower sound levels, with house lights left partially on, allowing for easy traversal in and out of our theatre. Our sensory show for Velveteen Rabbit will take place Saturday, March 21st at 2pm. ASL interpreters are available upon request.
