The Sigma/SNRS Research Grant application deadline is April 1, 2026.

This collaborative grant supports pilot and developmental nursing research, helping investigators launch new ideas, generate preliminary data, and advance nursing science.

🎉 SNRS Member Good News!

Congratulations to Nkem Chiedu, MSN, RN, BA of Texas Woman’s University, whose abstract has been selected for an oral concurrent session at the International Society of Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurses Annual Conference 2026 in Seattle.

Her presentation, “Beyond a One-Size-Fits-All Culture: Culturally Responsive, Trauma-Informed CBT for Diverse Populations,” highlights the importance of culturally responsive, trauma-informed psychiatric nursing practices to better support diverse populations and improve mental health outcomes.

As a post-master’s nursing scholar, psychiatric nurse, and educator, Nkem is committed to advancing the evidence base shaping the future of psychiatric-mental health nursing.
