SNRS Member Good News 🎉
Congratulations to Dr. Charleen McNeill, President of SNRS, who has been named Dean of the College of Nursing and Health Professions at The University of Southern Mississippi, effective October 1.

Dr. McNeill currently serves as Executive Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Nursing. A U.S. Army veteran and accomplished nurse leader, she brings extensive experience in academic administration, clinical practice, and research focused on community health, emergency preparedness, resilience, and opioid utilization.

With a strong record of service, scholarship, and innovation, Dr. McNeill is well-positioned to advance Southern Miss’s mission and continue building the college’s legacy of academic excellence, community engagement, and workforce innovation.

Member Good News! 🎉

Dr. Victoria Marshall, Associate Professor at the University of South
Florida College of Nursing, has been awarded over $213,000 from the
Florida Department of Health for the project titled, GOALHealth:
Geriatric Oncology Adherence Link: Testing an Established Prototype to
Support Older Adults Prescribed Oral Anticancer Medication.

This funding will support the development of an innovative web-based
program designed to assist adults aged 65 and older in managing their
oral anti-cancer medications and related symptoms and side effects of
treatment.
