Who doesn't love a Spring Horse Trials at The Morven Park International Equestrian Center?

It's the world's greatest venue, attended by the world's greatest athletes and horses, and managed by the world's greatest staff and volunteers.

Fortunate enough again to be an attending veterinarian at this 'uneventful' eventing event along with Dr. Davis.

That's a wrap! 3 seminars in 3 months. Thank you to the 120+ clients and friends that participated in these educational seminars.

This evening's videos and discussion emphasized identifying, interpreting, and quantifying a horse's subtle signs of pain, and then doing something about it. We should stop saying "it's just him" or "she's done it forever", and look deeper into the "why".

It really is our pleasure bringing these presentations to you. Your energy and enthusiasm to learn fuels our desire to continue.

We're already looking forward to January 2027 and resuming the series.

In this session, all four of TEVA's veterinarians will utilize extensive video and photographic examples to share their insights and daily applications of pain scoring. This approach aims to enhance your understanding of your horse's behavioral signals, facilitate actionable diagnoses, and promote earlier intervention strategies. A handout will be provided.

The seminar will run from 6 PM to 7:30 PM and is complimentary for all attendees. It will take place in the Hofmann Classroom at Morven Park Equestrian Center, with refreshments included. What an incredible gathering of horse owners with a thirst for learning about colic!

The energy in the room was palpable, fueled by insightful questions and dynamic exchanges. It was a privilege to share the Hofmann Classroom at Morven Park with such a remarkable group of almost 60 attendees. Every discussion was a testament to their collective wisdom and shared passion.

Highlights included the anatomy demonstration using a horse skull, tubing, ducting, hoses, and a mop tail to represent the 100+ feet of the equine gastrointestinal system and the colic surgery video. We did some Myth-Busting and listened to additional commentary from TEVA's entire veterinary team. It was an informative and creative evening!

We are truly grateful for this opportunity to connect. Let's keep this learning momentum going! See you in March.

A million thanks to all that attended our first of 3 monthly educational seminars at Morven Park's Hofmann Classroom.

With over 40 attendees, there was a great vibe, superb questions, engaging conversations, and a fantastic spread of food and drinks.

Huge thank you to the TEVA office staff for hosting this great evening, doing the shopping, organizing, and cleaning afterwards. Thank you Sarah, Holly, Cindra, and Maria!
