Dr Akhtar graduated in 2004 from Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed his residency from the Henry Ford Hospital in 2009, where he also completed his internship in 2005. His fellowship was concluded in 2010 from New England Baptist Hospital, a Harvard Affiliate. Research was obtained from the National Institute of Health from 2003-2004. Dr. Akhtars clinical interest include joint replacement and general orthopedic treatment.
