Dr Mullen switched into coaching mode again, this time for ⚽ soccer. His team went out to Wi******er to start the season, and it turns out the game was well represented by the dental profession! Dr DeArment from had a daughter on the other team, and both wives are dentists.

The game ended in a 1-1 tie, and there were no injuries, but if anyone had been hit in the mouth, they would have been in great hands 😀🦷⚽🦷

Mullen Orthodontics took the first day of school as a chance to do some team building at Time Mission 🎯 all the way down in Manassas. It is a super fun place that is a cross between an arcade 🎮 and an escape room 🔐

There were about 25 rooms so we split into 2 teams and each team tried to earn as many points as they could by dodging lasers 🔦, solving riddles 🧩, or stomping on lighted tiles 🔲.

Team 1 was Dr Mullen, Kris and Kaitlyn 💪
Team 2 was Donna, Jessica and Jose 🙌

Dr Karrie attended an amazing lecture for women in dentistry last night, given by our good friend Dr Niloo Mofakhami. She is a wonderful Pediatric Dentist in Oakton and was a classmate of Dr Mullen in dental school. The two of them spent a lot of time sharing laughs and struggles in those four years, sitting next to each other in the lab as they practiced doing fillings 🦷🪥

Dr Mullen, Dr Karrie, Dan and Lexi went down to far Southwest VA and volunteered at the Dental Mission of Mercy in Wise, VA over the past couple of days. Dr Karrie did most of the hard work because she's got the skills to do fillings and take teeth out, it's harder to do orthodontic treatment over two days time 😆. So Dr Mullen helped screen patients and Daniel and Lexi assisted with the procedures and lent a hand with anything that needed to be done.

Dentists from all over the state were there to help treat patients from an area of the state that have a lot of unmet dental needs. It's also one of the most beautiful parts of Virginia! 🌄

Happy Father's Day! We know how amazing the dads of our patients are, I hope everyone is celebrating!

Dr Mullen and Karrie did a road trip and started the day visiting his oldest daughter in Richmond 😀. They stopped by their old townhouse in Carytown, and of course ate Father's Day brunch at , his sister's restaurant. It was absolutely amazing, as usual!
