My Story
I am a mother of 3 boys. So of course, I’m constantly being asked how I got into starting a business for myself, making hair bows for little girls!
Well, I started this business as a newly discovered hobby, with no intention of turning it into anything that it became. At the time I was in beauty school studying to get a degree in cosmetology. I started making hair bows for fun and I would wear them to school everyday. Eventually, after I had been asked numerous times if I would make bows for other people, I realized that I might have just found a new talent in myself. So I decided to sell my creations and see where it takes me.
My oldest son was 3 years old when it all began. After a few months, I became pregnant with our second son. I had always wanted a daughter and my husband was secretly hoping for a girl as well. However, that just wasn’t the case but we were okay with that. When he was 4 months old, I was surprised with yet another positive pregnancy test! However, this time it was looking like a girl!!! I started making more and more bows now that I finally had a little baby girl of my own, on the way! However, when I delivered my third baby, even the doctor was shocked to announce that it was ANOTHER BOY! He is now almost 4 years old and still my biggest mama’s boy. Luckily I was blessed with 2 beautiful nieces who love bows and love to show them off for me in pictures and at craft shows.
So having all boys just means that I have more inventory for your princesses to wear instead! - Which is completely okay with me!
