Co-regulation in relationships is when two people come together to create a supportive emotional environment where they are able to help each other navigate their feelings and behaviors.
By providing support, understanding and comfort to one another, couples are able to better regulate their own emotions.

Each day, we handle enough difficulty, stress, and pressure just by being human. The last thing we need is to be adding to that burden by concentrating on things outside of our control.

No matter how upset some things make us, we can not change other people’s actions, nor prevent them from happening.

Limiting our worries to the things in our control can aid us in feeling less overwhelmed, and can shift the focus to what we can adjust to make ourselves feel better!
