Leonard’s Story…
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
Psalm 23:
Brother Leonard Davis was born on May 10, 1956, to the late
Bro. John Henry and Sis. Beulah Hopkins Davis. He attended the public schools in Vernon Parish.
“Lendell” loved his family and spent priceless and precious time with them. He also loved basketball, bowling, and playing pool.
On August 14, 2025, John answered the Master’s call to come home and rest from his earthly labor to his heavenly home. He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters, and other close kindred.
Those left to cherish his memories, leaves four children, two daughters, Tonja and Angela Davis; two sons, Leonard Sr. and Jeffrey Davis; four sisters, Sharon Hawkins, Shirley Meeks, Beulah Lois Davis, and Cynthia Harris; He had a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Remember this as a Celebration, A time to Rejoice, A time Celebrate!
