Women 40 and over should get annual mammograms to screen for breast cancers. This is still the most effective way to catch breast cancer in the earliest stages, when it is 95+% curable!
I am a cancer specialist, and I get my annual mammogram every year.
Another year, another mammogram.

2.) Your employer may cover a agreement as a part of your health benefits plan, with even if that plan is a high deductible health plan (HDHP) with an HSA.
3.) Spending on that DPC agreement would count toward the deductible in your plan.
4.)Employers may offer these DPC plans with zero cost sharing and no out of pocket costs for primary care.
5.) Employers, led by the Purchaser Business Group on Health (PBGH), The ERISA Industry Committee Boeing Amazon and other businesses who have paved the way will now be able to offer a DPC benefit to ALL their employees.

It was never the doctors. It was never the patients. It is the people making their salaries in between each doctor and their patient. Administration is necessary to deliver healthcare services on a massive scale but we have allowed the administration to administrate themselves into billions and billions of dollars, all while physicians say it's all worse and patients know it!

With US health care costs skyrocketing, these doctors are ditching insurance for a subscription-based model — is this the future of care?

A doctor's hands
They heal
They comfort
They diagnose
They...
Have white paint on them from some touchups to the office trim, while in between patients yesterday.
Dr. Kenney can do some things. She is a real life business owner and the fifth generation of her family to own her own business.
First her great, great, grandfather opened a mercantile in the new world. Then her great grandfather started a concrete business. Her grandparents' opened and grew a chain of taco stands. She grew up working in her father's dental offices and now she runs her own medical office.
She is living the American dream, paint smudges and all!

Honestly, you don't need to read the story, because it says what we all already know. Health insurance makes money off of not providing care for you.
"Why don't you accept insurance?". Because to accept insurance,I would have to signed a contract with those insurance companies, and then Leeton Medical would be run based on what Insurance allows. I don't work for them! I don't want to work for them. No kid ever said, when I grown up, I want to help insurance companies....I help patients. I'm a doctor.
" each of the four former executives I spoke to for this story, including Potter, arrived at the same conclusion: Patients’ needs are fundamentally at odds with insurers’ financial incentives and the ever-growing demands of Wall Street. “Health care is a weird thing where you don’t want the customer to use your product,” as one put it. All described stomach-churning encounters with greed that prompted them not only to leave the country’s for-profit health-insurance industry but to question its premise."
Champagne for record profits. Being ordered to “execute some hostages.” Why four men quit and spoke out.

I write articles quite a bit. Usually about all the things I'm fired up about, good and bad, in this Healthcare mess we've made.
