TRAVERSE HEALTH IS HIRING!
We are looking for a friendly, outgoing and energetic individual to be the first point of contact for our patients in our start-up concierge-type practice. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills and a desire to learn the inter-workings of a medical/chiropractic.
Our ideal assistant will have the following attributes:
athletic or personal trainer
understanding of insurance
outgoing, able to talk to new people and build rapport
medical assisting background preferred
phlebotamy training preferred, not required
Preference is given to people with experience:
working one-on-one with individuals of all body types
has insurance verification experience
leveraging your body in near proximity of the customer
experience setting up marketing events
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-We use social media, so you must be comfortable interacting on social media with our clinic page/articles, and being recorded in video demonstrations
-Organization and multitasking abilities
-An upbeat attitude and easily approachable
-Must have basic proficiency with computers- we are an electronic medical office
-Willingness to help with marketing and work as a team. This may include educational and exercise videos, posts and articles
-Able to use office equipment; computer, scanner, fax, and phone system
-Proficient with Microsoft Office
-Dedication to high-quality service
-Maintain a professional appearance and appropriate attire
-Enthusiastic approach to customer service
-Able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
-Answer phones, recall, and even cold calling
-Ability to perform physical therapy modalities on patients such as e-stim, ultrasound, and laser treatment.
You will learn -Physical therapy modalities including e-stim, ultrasound, deep tissue laser massage, heat/ice therapy, mobility training, kinesiotaping, and more. You may also be taught and demonstrate rehabilitative exercises and will get hands-on experience with patients.
Education in medical assisting is a plus, but not required. Will train the right person.
