Whether it's taking up a new fitness routine, dedicating time to meditation, seeing a therapist, or simply ensuring you get enough sleep, there are so many ways to invest in your well-being!

On the mental health front, mindfulness practices like meditation or deep-breathing exercises can significantly reduce stress. Journaling and therapy can also be a therapeutic way to process thoughts and emotions.

As always, engaging in hobbies that bring you joy, whether it's painting, reading, or gardening, can provide a much-needed mental break from daily stresses.

Remember, is a personal journey and looks different for everyone. The key is to find activities that you enjoy and that fit into your lifestyle, making it easier to stick with them in the long term.

Small, consistent steps can lead to significant improvements over time, so start where you are and celebrate each milestone along the way.

We're cheering you on!

Boundaries aren't just a buzzword; they're your mental health's best friend. It's not selfish to say no; it's self-care. 💪

It might seem hard or scary, but it's so important-- copy and paste these to use where applicable:
- Direct and Polite: "I'd love to help, but unfortunately, I can't right now."
- Give a Reason: "Thanks for thinking of me, but I have too much on my plate at the moment."
- Assertive: "I'd rather not, but thanks for thinking of me."
- Apologetic: "I'm really sorry, but I have to pass."
- Compromise: "I can't do the whole thing, but I can help with [specific part]."
- The Randy Jackson: "That's a no from me, dawg."

We talk a lot about how important that therapist fit is.... but what if it doesn't feel quite right?

One of the benefits of seeing a therapist at Ellie is that it's easy to make the switch-- here are some tips from our therapists on how to approach the change (we get it, it can be awkward-- but it's super important!).

We're here to support you to find your best therapist match.

We've all been there—feeling like we're just too much for others to handle. But here's the truth: You're not a burden.

Those who care about you want to support you, just like how you want to support them.

Sometimes it's easy to get caught up in gloomy thoughts, but remember that thoughts aren't facts and you are a one-of-a-kind sparkling gem. 💎

When you notice those feelings creep in, remind yourself that it's okay to lean on your friends, family, or a therapist. Talk it out and share your worries, because sometimes a simple conversation can lighten that emotional load.

"But what if I don't know who I really am?!" 💭

Sometimes we are so used to masking, blending in, or serving others' needs that it feels intimidating to even think of figuring out who we really are deep inside. Believe us though, avoiding or pretending can be even more exhausting.

Let a therapist empower you on the path of discovery and self acceptance (they're really good at it). 🌈💖
