Job Opening: Medical Assistant/Office Aid
**Location:** Birthing Your Way & Helix Springs Family Care in Lehi, Utah
Birthing Your Way and Helix Springs Family Care are looking for a Medical Assistant/Office Aide to join our team immediately.
Certification: Not required, but a background or knowledge of medical terminology is essential.
- **Hours:** Flexible, with preference given to Monday, Thursday, and Friday. Occasional coverage on Tuesday and Wednesday may be requested.
- **Skills Required:**
- Strong organizational and troubleshooting abilities.
- Self-starter attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general PC use.
- Excellent communication and phone skills for patient and provider interactions.
**Bonus Skills:**
- Phlebotomy
- Taking blood pressure
- Administering injections
- Patient check-in procedures
**Responsibilities:**
- Managing task lists with weekly and monthly deadlines.
- Providing support to both the Birth Center and Family Practice.
**Ideal Candidates:**
- Those with medical office experience.
- Students currently enrolled in medical assistant or nursing programs. We offer flexibility to accommodate school schedules. This is great exposure to the medical profession and what you are going to school for.
