EMS Week 2025:
“We care. For everyone.”
As EMS week is wrapping up, we first and foremost have the thank the providers at MVAA, as well as the rest of Carbon county.
You’ve responded to every kind of patient’s call for help. You’ve missed meals, holidays, birthdays, come in on your days off, to provide versatile care. To everyone. You’ve put in countless hours of education over the years, trained during your downtime, raised funds for new equipment.
You did not choose who called 911, and you cared for them all the same.
EMS week is intended to bring awareness to the public of just what you are. So who are you?
Someone’s child, sibling, spouse, who left the house this morning to go and provide the best possible care to someone you probably don’t even know. Because you care.
You will answer the call for someone having a heart attack, crashed their car, having a mental health crisis, or maybe just doesn’t feel right today, and you will care for them.
So thank you, to the EMTs, Paramedics, PHRNs, and more, who provide life changing and life saving care to Mahoning township, and the rest of Carbon county. We don’t want to know where we would be without you.
