When the week starts, stress can feel like a foggy, chaotic downpour. Everything blurs together into one giant feeling of "too much," leaving you feeling soaked and overwhelmed.

To build sustainable momentum, we first have to clear the fog and identify the individual stressors. We can't manage what we haven't named!

Take a mindful pause today. Look closely at the tangle. What is the actual source of the overwhelm right now?

Today is World Bipolar Day, falling on the birthday of Vincent van Gogh. While his art is world-famous, his struggle with what we now know as Bipolar Disorder reminds us that this condition is deeply complex and often misunderstood.

There’s a common MYTH that Bipolar Disorder is just "happy one minute, sad the next."

The REALITY is much more profound. It is a neurological condition involving cycles of mania, hypomania, and depression that can last for weeks or even months. It isn’t a choice, and it isn’t a "mood swing"—it’s a lived experience that requires specialized care, science-backed tools, and radical empathy.

The old saying tells us that "April showers bring May flowers," but in the therapy room, we know the truth is a bit more nuanced. 🌧️🌱

Growth isn’t always a sunny, linear path. Sometimes, growth is sitting through the "rainy" seasons of our lives—the moments of heavy processing, the tears, and the uncomfortable stretching that comes with setting new boundaries.

As we prepare to step into a new month (and celebrate our 2nd Anniversary in just 2 days!), we’re setting a Monday Mindset of intentional preparation.
