In 1951, concerned citizens of Grayson County, KY made a commitment to serve the medical needs of our community by incorporating Grayson County War Memorial Hospital. Located in downtown Leitchfield, the most vivid memories o

f the old hospital focus on people -- the dedicated staff members who were always on hand to meet the needs of the patients and families. The community again responded to the need, and in 1979, the hospital relocated to Wallace Avenue to a new two-story, 75-bed facility, renamed Grayson County Hospital. With a larger, modern-equipped hospital, and office space to attract new physicians to the area, the hospital and its services to the community began to flourish. By the early 1990s, the hospital's medical staff had more than doubled and its primary service area had grown beyond the borders of Grayson County. It was no longer just a "county" hospital-- it had come to be recognized as a regional healthcare provider. Thus, the Board of Directors, looking to the future, renamed the hospital, "Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center," to more truly represent its growth and status throughout the area. From five physicians in 1979 to today's active Medical Staff of over 30 doctors representing 11 specialties, Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center remains committed to its pledge to provide "Medical Excellence.

Our team members had a blast at our recent Family Feud event at The Alice Theatre! Thanks to our Employee Engagement team who sponsored the game show-themed night, which brought together over 60 team members for some fun and friendly competition.

OHTLMC was thrilled to provide free medical screenings at the Grayson County School District's Back to School event for teachers at Grayson County High School!

We offered a range of screenings to help teachers get a better understanding of their health, including tests for diabetes and cholesterol, carotid artery ultrasound and blood pressure.

In addition to the screenings, teachers were able to pre-schedule a traditional doctor's appointment at our mobile clinic which was on site that day.

OHTLMC is pleased to announce the expansion of our services to include Speech-Language Pathology. We are excited to introduce MacKenzie Brackett, a certified Speech-Language Pathologist and Grayson County native, to our team.

MacKenzie earned her bachelor's degree from Murray State University and her master's from Eastern Kentucky University. She specializes in working with both children and adults and she is passionate about helping patients achieve their goals.

Yesterday, GCHF was proud to present a grant award in the amount of $17,600 to Owensboro Health Foundation. The funding supports the OHTLMC Community Health Committee’s F**t Fiddle Program. The program encourages Grayson County residents to engage in physical activity. Through the F**t Fiddle program the committee has offered the first annual F**t Fiddle 5K, provided education to youth in partnership with Grayson County School District, and much more. We are excited to see this program expand and reach even more Grayson Countians in the coming year!

This past weekend, our Community Health team promoted fitness at the annual Twin Lakes National Fiddler Championship 🎶🎻

Through our Family Fun Walk activity, we encouraged residents to embrace physical activity in a fun way! After completing the Family Fun Walk and sharing a selfie, participants recieved items from our dedicated community partners. It was a fantastic opportunity to engage with the community and encourage active lifestyles!
