University of Louisville School of Nursing is excited to offer an Accelerated Second Degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in Owensboro. This hybrid program — where course lectures are offered online and clinical and lab experiences occur in person — prepares students with a bachelor's degree in any area outside of nursing to become entry-level professional nurses in just 15 months. Applications are being accepted now through November 15 for priority consideration.

What a great night for football - and Owensboro Health Game On! - as Grayson County hosted McLean County last night in Leitchfield!

F**t Fiddle and the Twin Lakes team tossed special edition footballs to fans on both sidelines. Then we played punt-pass-kick with two awesome high school students, including Carson Dennis, who took home the $500 prize!

Thank you GCHS for hosting us and to both schools for being part of the fun!

Owensboro Health Foundation is hosting a raffle to benefit the Dr. Scott E. Gaines Memorial Scholarship Fund in Madisonville. Established thirteen years ago in memory of Dr. Gaines, the scholarship is funded annually from the proceeds of the Dr. Scott E. Gaines Annual Golf Classic held in Madisonville each September. Since it began, more than $100,000 has been raised for the scholarships.

This year’s golf classic will be held September 13-14 at Madisonville Country Club. As part of the event, a raffle has been added. Prizes include a Yeti Hopper Flip 8 Cooler (Value $200), a Yeti Hopper Flip 12 Cooler (Value $250) and A Day at the Races for Six (Lunch and racing in the Turf Club during Churchill Downs' 2025 Fall Meet or 2026 Spring Meet. (Value $450)).

Due to severe weather conditions, Owensboro Health facilities will have the following schedule adjustments on Monday, January 6:

• All Owensboro Health primary care, specialty care and urgent care locations will be closed.
• Urgent care telehealth appointments are available. Learn more at OwensboroHealth.org/Weather.
• Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center will be closed, and appointments will be rescheduled.
• Owensboro Health Regional Hospital lab will be open for walk-in patients. All other outpatient lab locations will be closed.
• Owensboro Health imaging centers will be closed.
• Owensboro Health Home Care will triage patients based on priority.
• Ambulatory Surgery Center and Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center surgery will be closed.
• Community Pharmacy at the Springs will be closed. OHRH Outpatient Pharmacy will be open.
• HealthPark fitness center and therapies will be closed.
• The call center will remain open to take messages and forward them to clinics for follow-up.

- As always, our Emergency Departments will remain open should you need care.

- If you have a scheduled appointment, your provider will contact you to reschedule.
