🐢🚩 Do you ever feel like you’re missing all the signs that something isn’t right for you?
Like when…
•Your “quick nap” requires a three-business-day recovery.
•The group text makes you more anxious than excited.
•You’re re-reading the same page five times because your brain checked out.
•That friendship feels like you’re auditioning for their approval.
•Your stomach flips every time their name pops up on your phone.
•You “check emails real quick”… and suddenly it’s midnight.
•Your “self-care” leaves you more drained (hello, scrolling instead of sleeping).
•You keep saying it’s fine… but it never actually feels fine.
•The Sunday Scaries start showing up on Friday.
•You’re the therapist-friend for everyone, but no one checks on you.
✨ Here’s the truth:
If you have to twist yourself sideways just to fit through a metaphorical gate — or you’ve been stuck in the same place for a while without any progress — consider stepping back, breathing, and looking for an opening that actually fits who you are.
Because if we hold onto what’s not working, we might miss the opportunity that could free you from your situation.
🔧 Mini psycho-ed: Your nervous system is like a dashboard. Anxiety, exhaustion, dread = alerts, not defects. We often ignore them because the brain craves predictability — even when the pattern isn’t good for us.
We’re taught to push through and believe that pushing through always leads to success. However, sometimes an emotional reset and changing course leads to success. Discernment is just as important as perseverance.
👉 Listening isn’t “giving up.” It’s wisdom.
