Sciatic pain and low back tension often come from tight hips—especially the piriformis muscle. The Figure 4 stretch helps reduce pressure on the sciatic nerve and improves hip mobility, which can ease discomfort in the lower back and leg.

How to do the Figure 4 Stretch:
1. Start seated or lying on your back with both feet flat.
2. Cross one ankle over the opposite knee, forming a “4” shape.
3. Keep your spine neutral and gently press the crossed knee away from your body.
4. You should feel a stretch in the hip and glute—not pain.
5. Hold for 20–30 seconds while breathing deeply.
6. Switch sides and repeat 2–3 times per side.

✨ Tip: Gentle, consistent stretching is more effective than forcing a deep stretch.

✨ Pec Stretch: Open Your Chest, Improve Your Posture

Tight pecs are one of the biggest contributors to rounded shoulders and forward head posture — especially if you sit at a desk, text often, or spend time driving. Stretching the chest helps restore balance to the upper body and supports the work we do in the office.

💙 Why this stretch helps:
✔️ Reduces tightness across the chest and shoulders
✔️ Helps correct rounded, forward posture
✔️ Improves shoulder mobility and overhead movement
✔️ Relieves tension in the neck and upper back

💙 How to do it:
1. Stand in a doorway or beside a wall.
2. Place your forearm or palm on the surface at shoulder height or slightly above.
3. Gently rotate your body away until you feel a stretch across the chest.
4. Keep your shoulder relaxed — don’t shrug.
5. Hold 20–30 seconds, then switch sides.

A few minutes of this stretch each day can make you feel more open, aligned, and comfortable throughout your upper body. Your posture will thank you! 💙
