AssistedCare at Home and Eldercare At Home are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Kenneth S. White, MD, as their new Physician Liaison. Dr. White brings over four decades of medical expertise, including a distinguished career in plastic and reconstructive surgery, to his new role aimed at strengthening clinical partnerships and enhancing patient care coordination across southeastern North Carolina.
A graduate of Wake Forest School of Medicine, Dr. White completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester and has been board-certified in plastic surgery for over 40 years. He previously served as a surgeon at Wilmington Plastic Surgery and held affiliations with Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. White is recognized for his humanitarian work, having led numerous medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic and serving as Chairman of the Board for Medical Ministry International, a nonprofit dedicated to global healthcare access .
In his new position, Dr. White will act as a vital link between AssistedCare at Home, Eldercare At Home, and the broader medical community. His responsibilities will include fostering collaborative relationships with referring physicians, streamlining care transitions, and promoting integrated care models that support aging in place.
