Synergy has been conducting clinical research studies for more than 18 years in San Diego County.

earch conducts clinical trials in two separate locations covering both the southern and northern territories of San Diego County. A dedicated Phase I unit, comprised of 18 beds, is located within Synergy’s northern location. Synergy Research staffs 12 Board Certified Investigators and 12 highly qualified Clinical Research Coordinators (CCRCs, LVNs and RNs) between both the southern and northern locations. Synergy Research also boasts a highly qualified Marketing and Retention team comprised of 3 dedicated staff members who consistently provide learning and education to the community about Synergy and it’s research program. Included in the Retention process are 3 dedicated Synergy vans which allow the company to provide transportation to all research subjects as needed.

Study Seeking Patients with Schizophrenia in San Diego
Eligibility Criteria: To be considered for participation, you must meet the following requirements:

- Age between 18 and 65 years
- Clinically diagnosed with Schizophrenia
- Open to taking study medication or participating in research activities
- Agreeable to undergo physical examinations and have vital signs measured

Schizophrenia is a long-term mental disorder that leads to a breakdown in the relationships between thought, emotion, and behavior. Eventually, this can lead to a faulty perception of reality, causing inappropriate actions and feelings, as well as mental fragmentation.
