With February coming to a close and me being absent from here for a few weeks, I figured I should discuss that for a moment. Frankly, it has been a very emotional month for me; from getting my license back after a very long 5 years without it, to getting laid off the very next day. To then pushing up an oral surgery appointment while I still had the health insurance. Then deciding to make the semi-risky decision to get a car without a second income in the household, but knew it was necessary for the job search. Pounding the pavement searching for reliable employment and everything that comes with that (interviews, callbacks, resume editing, etc.) and then FINALLY landing a job that I can feel I am going to really love and that fits well into my life and desired long term goals.
These three items shown have really been an honest lifesaver for me these past few weeks, so let's highlight them for a moment.
First one is Copaiba: The Oil of Clarity and Worthiness. Originally I was very hurt from being laid off, for I felt like I was deceived since I was told at one point how valuable I was to the company and then this action. It made me feel lost...not to mention the bonds I had formed with some of the people there. After a few days reflection, I was able to understand that it wasn't just me that was affected by this and that it was a business decision as a whole. It was then that I was able to forgive and move forward and seek out a more purposeful existence.
Second is Adaptiv: Between needing to retake my DMV tests, prepping for surgery or calming myself down before an interview; Adaptiv has been such a lifesaver. It helps put me in a more positive state of mind and relieves alot of the stress that has naturally come with these experiences.
And lastly, Clove: Without this oil, I would have had alot harder time recovering from my wisdom tooth removal. A few drops into a glass of water and swish around for a minute or two whenever you start to feel the pain coming on and that's it. Keep at it as needed. With this method (as well as the OnGuard mouthwash) I was only sensitive for a few days, very minimal pain and never had to be prescribed any drugs. Win-win to me!!
Now that things are starting to level out and looking up for me, I promise to be back to posting at a normal consistency again.
What are a few things that have shown you love this week/month?
