Norma R.
Norma was born on May 15th, 1928.
She lived in a farmhouse around Ridott. Her father and brothers worked for Keene Cannin Comany. She moved around a lot. She has 8 brothers and sisters. She went to school and graduated 8th grade one room school at Cherry Hill in 1942. She worked at Mooks Drug Store and Richard Scott. They got married in 1950. They then moved straight to Navel Base in Portmouth, Virginia. They had 2 children. (Judy and Gary) They moved back to Freeport. Norma worked at the Sizzle Shop. Richard passed in 1966. She then went at Micro Switch where she met Lawrence and married in 1969.
He had 3 children Fonda, Kevin, ND Rene.He retired from farming and moved to Lena. Norma has4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Lawrence passed in 2010. Norma was a member of the Eastern Star for 50 years.

Samantha has been working at Lena Living Center for almost 2 years. She loves coming to work and talking with the residents. She stated, "I've met some amazing people here. I was very lucky and and met the love of my love, Christian here. I've had the privilege of working with my baby brother, Erik. I've also made some great friends during my time here. When I'm not at work, I love spending time with my family "
