Employee of Month for August. Brook Stebbins. Brook has been with Lena Living Center for over 2 years now! She started in the kitchen and moved on to being a C.N.A. She has been in the health field for 11 years now and loves it! She was a DSP for 6 years, and then became a certified optician, and now C.N.A. She is engaged to Farroah and has been together going on 7 years. Outside of work She takes care of her grandmother, and she keeps her busy. (Going for walks, gardening, shopping, and road trips, etc). She has 2 cats Doodie and Bella. She comes to work every day with a goal of doing her best, not only to support her team and residents but also grow as an individual. Being acknowledged like this reminds her of the effort that is seen and appreciated. It motivates her to keep pushing forward both in her career and life. She enjoys the time she spends with residents. They are like family to her.

🌟 Resident Success Story: A Journey of Strength and Healing 🌟

We are proud to share the story of one of our recent short-term rehab residents here at Lena Living Center.

After a stay in the hospital, Charlotte came to us needing time to rest, recover, and regain her strength before returning home. From the moment she arrived, our team worked closely with her to create a personalized care and therapy plan tailored to her recovery goals.

Day by day, Charlotte showed determination and progress — participating in therapy, building her stamina, and embracing every step of her healing journey. With the support of our skilled nursing staff, therapists, and her own incredible spirit, she reached her goal.

We were thrilled to celebrate with her and her family when the big day came — Charlotte was strong, healthy, and ready to return home.

Her story is a reminder of why we do what we do — helping residents recover with dignity, compassion, and the care they deserve.
