From building custom yogurt bowls with fresh fruit ๐๐ to creating personalized stamped bracelets with words that motivate, bring happiness, inspire, and uplift โour staff had a chance to pause, connect, and recharge.
Because when we take care of ourselves, we can give even better care to others. ๐

We are proud to share a heartfelt moment from one of our residents, Bill Mellott. Recently, Bill was presented with an original copy of the Brown v. Board of Education court case, signed by his grandfather, Author Mellott, who was one of the three district judges overseeing this landmark case in Kansas.
This significant moment not only honors Billโs grandfatherโs legacy but also serves as a powerful reminder of the crucial role played by the judiciary in ending segregation in public schools. The impact of this case resonates today, reflecting the ongoing journey toward equality and justice in education.

His mom was part of our community for many years, and Steve, along with his family, has always been deeply involved in our events and activities.
