This leads us towards working with some of the most difficult conditions of the head and neck. Dr. Spurgeon specializes in improving the function of the musculoskeletal system through adjustments, muscle therapy, and other treatments. Every condition is different and may need outside help in different ways, many times it can be managed by non-invasive treatments and/or exercise.

Had a good time this past weekend in Atlanta, keeping up to date with the lastest in Atlas Orthogonal Technique. We appreciate all my patients who have kept patient during the past several months. We have had to close the office several times due to personal circumstances with Dr. Spurgeon and his family. We continue to chip away at our waitlist, and always strive to keep our specialized care accessible to our community, near and far.

Well Hello to All!
Yesterday, Valerie, the Executive Director for the Georgia Chiropractic Association , came by to Interview Dr. Roy. I called her up a few months ago and asked her if Dr. Roy was the oldest living Chiropractor practicing in Georgia. His License # is 490-dated 1950.
I asked if they could give him an Award or something. Even better she called a few weeks ago and is putting Dr. Sweat on the Front Cover of the GCA magazine-April 2021 Edition There will be an article and photos. I asked if he is the oldest living Chiropractor practicing in the country...I am still waiting for that answer!!! God Bless Dr. Sweat, he looks pretty Dapper! Dr. Dennis Fiorini and Dr.
Kim Atkinson Fiorini gave him his ATLAS tie. GOGO AO!

Our Story

Dr. Spurgeon specializes in treating the area of the cervical spine, specifically where it meets the skull and protects the brainstem. He is one of less than 300 certified doctors in Atlas Orthogonal Technique. The technique is extremely gentle requiring little to no discomfort. Effective results are the norm for various head, neck, and upper extremity related issues, and is even seeing effective results in more complicated diseases such as post concussive syndrome, MS, and parkinsons.

Beyond the specialty, Dr. Spurgeon’s goal with treatment is to improving the function of the neuro-musculo-skeletal system through adjustments, muscle therapy, and other rehabilitation-based treatments.
