Luckily, this is a friendly aspect between Mercury and Uranus. This may be experienced as breakthroughs in problem solving. Divergent thinking may be just what you need to solve that problem that seemed to have no visible solution. Allow yourself to think outside the box. You will not find the answers in the rubble heap that you have been digging through.

Ask the universe to reveal the necessary solution to you. Since this aspect involves Mercury, take some time to journal your thoughts. Let your words pour out without censorship, and you just might find the answer you have been looking for.

Happy Solstice!

As the Sun moves into the tropical zodiac sign of Cancer, reflect on all that you have accomplished since Winter. It’s easy to forget how far we have come. Progress is not linear. Often times life feels like two steps forward, one step back.

In a two dimensional model, this looks like moving forward and backwards on a line. However, life is like a checkered dance floor. We move two steps in one way and take a step back on the diagonal. I believe life is not about moving forward, but rather covering more ground. Our job is not to reach a destination, but to experience the entire game board.

Next time you feel discouraged by where you are on your life journey, remember this and keep on dancing!
