Our residents always look forward to trips to Lenoir City Park—and it’s easy to see why. From soaking up some much-needed vitamin D to feeding the ducks and enjoying the fresh air, these outings are simple joys that brighten everyone’s day. The peaceful setting was especially appreciated by our gentlemen residents, who enjoyed connecting with nature and good company. 🌿💛

George officially joined our Morning Pointe team in October 2022, but his connection to our community began back in 2019 when his sister Margaret became a resident. Since then, he's been a steady, caring presence we've all come to count on.

Born in Chicago, IL, and raised in Loudon, TN, and San Juan, Puerto Rico, George brings a warm, well-traveled spirit to everything he does. In his free time, he enjoys the mountains, music, church activities, visiting friends, reading, and relaxing by the beach. 🌄🎶📖

🌟 Meet our Resident of the Month: Dean Russell! 🇺🇸☕
Dean grew up in Oliver Springs before moving to Loudon at age 10, where he later graduated from Loudon High School. A proud Navy veteran, Dean served four years in the submarine force as part of the 2nd class Navy—and even took his wife, Joanne, aboard a couple of times! 🚢💙

Dean and Joanne were married for an incredible 64 years and shared many adventures together, including a breathtaking helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon. Though they never had children, they cherished their loyal dog, Skipper, who was part of their lives for 12 wonderful years. 🐾
Dean enjoys his mornings with a cup of coffee and the news and treasures the company of his dear friend, David Johnson.
