🌟 A night of cheers, laughter, and pure talent in Knoxville! 🌟
The curtain has closed at the historic Bijou Theatre, but the energy from the 5th Annual Morning Pointe Foundation Seniors Got Talent – Knoxville is still shining bright! 🎭💙
From bluegrass bands and soulful singers to piano performances and comedy acts that had the crowd roaring, every moment celebrated creativity, confidence, and heart. 🎶👏 Each performer reminded us that talent doesn’t fade with age — it flourishes.
Together, we raised over $4,000 for the People’s Choice Award and nearly $43,000 total to support the Morning Pointe Foundation’s mission of providing scholarships for future caregivers right here in East Tennessee — helping educate the next generation of nurses, therapists, and allied health professionals. 🎓💛
🏆 Congratulations to our 2025 winners:
🥇 1st Place – Pianist Beverly Kerr performing “Ode to Joy (Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee)”
🥈 2nd Place – The Sapphires, a ca****la quartet, performing “Sweet Dreams” and “Heatwave”
🥉 3rd Place – Singer Joel Dupré performing “New York, New York” by Frank Sinatra
🏅 People’s Choice – Musical group Better with Every Breath performing “This Train is Bound for Glory” by Sister Rosetta Tharpe
To our performers, sponsors, judges, and audience — thank you for making this year’s showcase one we’ll never forget. Here’s to the stories, the songs, and the spirit of Knoxville’s senior stars! 🌟
