👖 Denim Day 2026 | April 29 👖

Join the Loudon County Health Improvement Council in recognizing Denim Day, a global movement that stands in support of survivors of sexual assault and works to end harmful myths about sexual violence.

Observed each year on the last Wednesday of April, Denim Day is part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. It began as a protest against victim-blaming and sends a powerful message: what someone wears is never consent.

On April 29, 2026, we encourage our community to wear denim with purpose—show your support, start conversations, and help raise awareness.

Together, we can create a safer, more informed, and more compassionate community. 💙

🌸 April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) 🌸

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the national SAAM campaign, and the theme is: “25 Years Stronger: Looking Back, Moving Forward.”

For 25 years, SAAM has brought together survivors, advocates, and communities to end sexual abuse, assault, and harassment. This milestone is both a celebration of progress and a call to action—to honor the movement’s history while reaffirming our commitment to a safer future for all.

Throughout April, we encourage everyone in Loudon County to raise awareness, support survivors, and engage in prevention efforts. Together, we can continue building a community that listens, believes, and protects.
